What it does

Geodha turns a photo of a waste problem into a structured civic report. Capture the issue, confirm the location, check the category, and submit.

  • AI-assisted review. Cloud Functions send the photo to OpenAI to classify the issue, estimate its size and draft the description. Every suggestion stays editable.
  • Community map. Reports appear on a shared map where neighbours can endorse, downvote, flag or resolve them, depending on their permissions.
  • Escalation to BBMP. Users link a Sahaaya account with an OTP and submit eligible reports as official grievances, with status polling after submission.
  • Knowledge hub. Community updates and articles are pulled from Notion into the app.

Built to run in production

Sign-in supports email and password, magic links, Apple, Google and anonymous accounts. A remote config document gates old builds when a backend contract changes, and only points users to the official store listings.

Bug reports bundle a few recent sessions of redacted logs, route names and device metadata into a private upload. They never include photos, location, report content or contact details, and expire after 90 days.
